Over the past 8 years, we’ve had the privilege of working closely with schools throughout the district, helping to design and install functional fitness spaces that cater to middle and high school students of all fitness levels. We’ve optimized gym floor layouts to ensure they are both space-efficient and conducive to dynamic, engaging fitness activities. This training will provide teachers with the tools and strategies to incorporate functional fitness in ways that elevate your students' health, wellness, and athleticism.

MoveStrong to conduct a functional fitness and obstacle course training workshop for teachers, staff, and Police officers for Fontana High School and the city’s Law Enforcement.

A new 26,000 square foot outdoor fitness and obstacle course training area is about to open for Fontana Unified School District, Teachers, Students, Physical Education staff, the city’s Law Enforcement and First Responders! The fitness and obstacle course space was converted from four Tennis Courts. After much time, planning, School Board and City approval, the decision was made convert the space to more useful needs for the school and community.

Fontana Law Enforcement needed a dedicated course for their Police testing to include specific obstacles like walls, fence obstacles, hurdles, balance beams, dummy drags, and agility runs. This Police testing course was placed in the middle of the overall Fitness and Obstacle course for the school.

Four individual MoveStrong Outdoor Fitness areas have been created at Four Season Resort Peninsula Papagayo as part of a wellness path that surrounds the beautiful coastal property. Each MoveStrong training area spaced out along the path to provide exercising options in different areas for your community members and guest of the resort. Each fitness area consist of a customized MoveStrong T-Rex Outdoor Functional Training Station that provides multiple exercise options in one station so users can get fit together. Training features on each station include adjustable Steps, Dip, and Ab benches, along with pull-up bars, monkey bars, rings and more options for using fitness tools like resistance bands, medicine balls, and battle ropes! Shaded areas provide a place for exercise, yoga, and relaxing after your workout.

Middle Tennessee YMCA Association along with DaneFit ofHendersonville,TN hosted the first MoveStrong Elevated Bodyweight Training course level 1 for trainers. The workshop was part of continuing eduction made available to YMCA staff each year. 

The Ys have added MoveStrong FTS (Functional Trainig Stations) and many of the Tennessee and Nashville area locations over the past couple years making it ideal for hosting continuing  education with MoveStrong and new functional fitness accessories. The Elevate Trainer is the newest in the MoveStrong functional fitness tools offering a complete overhead suspended training device to effectively target different modalities in bodyweight strength, stability, and mobility exercise.
