The Town of Mount Pleasant and MoveStrong are thrilled to invite the community to the Grand Opening Celebration for Phase 3 of the Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park—an exciting milestone that brings new recreational amenities, gathering spaces, and outdoor fitness opportunities.

The celebration will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, family-friendly activities, and summer-themed giveaways—plus a host of special events to make this a truly memorable evening.

As part of the park’s exciting expansion, MoveStrong is proud to introduce its state-of-the-art outdoor fitness area—designed to help visitors of all ages build strength, mobility, and endurance in a dynamic, space-efficient setting. Our experts will be on-site, showcasing how to safely and effectively use the new equipment.

Other highlights include a Pickleball and Basketball event, complete with instructors and prizes; and community guests – Meet Charleston Animal Society and Just Bee, while enjoying free Kona Ice snow cones!
