Coming Soon: MoveStrong FitGround at Vidinha Stadium, Kauai
Big news from paradise! MoveStrong is thrilled to announce our next Outdoor Functional Fitness installation — and our largest yet in Hawaii — at Vidinha Stadium in Kauai. We’re proud to partner with the Island of Kauai government staff as part of the stadium and park renovation project to create a custom-designed outdoor fitness area for the local community. This new space will offer residents and visitors a place to train, move, and connect, all under the beautiful Hawaiian sun.
The new layout was carefully planned to support all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced athletes, and to encourage functional movement for teenagers and adults alike. Designed for versatility and accessibility, the space combines fitness and performance features to inspire users of all abilities.
The installation includes a variety of FitGround stations such as stall bars for stretching and mobility, battle ropes for cardio and HIIT training, and agility floor graphics featuring ladders and dots for speed and coordination work. Upper body strength is developed with push-up and inverted row bars, while plyo steps and elite parallel bars offer opportunities to build balance, agility, and body control. A drive sled adds an element of power and conditioning, and an overview sign helps users navigate the space safely and confidently.
At the center of the new outdoor area stands the MoveStrong T-Rex 6-Post Elite, equipped with adjustable steps, climber bars, globe grips, cliff hanger, medicine ball target, elevate trainer, kickplate and rings, heavy bag, and an extended pull-up bar. Together, these features create an engaging environment for both upper and lower body training, grip strength, and overall athletic performance.
To complete the design, MoveStrong’s signature performance turf will be installed, featuring custom training graphics that make the space as visually dynamic as it is functional.
This project marks our third MoveStrong Outdoor Fitness installation in Hawaii — a continued commitment to supporting active, healthy communities across the islands. Installation is set to begin soon, so stay tuned for updates and a closer look at this exciting addition to Vidinha Stadium.
