More Spaces. More Movement. More Community.

What starts with one successful outdoor fitness space can quickly become something much bigger. For one of our Texas multifamily community partners, a single MoveStrong FitGround installation has grown into an ongoing partnership that is bringing outdoor fitness and functional training to more residents across their portfolio. We’re excited to have completed our fourth MoveStrong FitGround installation for this partner, continuing a shared vision of creating accessible, engaging spaces where residents can move, train, and connect right where they live.

Our partnership began with one property and one outdoor fitness space. As residents embraced the opportunity to train outdoors, the success of that first installation helped open the door for additional communities.

Now, four MoveStrong FitGround installations later, more residents have access to versatile training environments designed for a wide range of fitness levels and goals. Each space gives residents the opportunity to build strength, improve conditioning, work on functional movement, and simply enjoy being active outdoors. The newest installation in San Antonio builds on that foundation with an extensive selection of equipment and training zones designed to keep workouts varied and engaging.

Built for Functional Training

At the heart of the space is a 6-post T-Rex Functional Fitness Station with an extended pull-up bar, monkey bars, medicine ball target, adjustable dip station, adjustable step, heavy bag, fitness rings, and kickplate. Together, these features create a central training hub with countless possibilities for strength, bodyweight, conditioning, and functional training.

The surrounding space expands those possibilities even further with some of the most popular FitGround stations, including low parallel bars, parallel bars, plyo steps, balance beams, over-under bars, push-up and pull-up bars, a stall bar, and a back extension station.

For agility and conditioning, the FitGround includes a dedicated track with agility dots and a ladder, along with a tire flip station, and battle ropes. The result is a space that can support everything from individual workouts to group training sessions and structured community fitness events.

Rather than creating a space centered around one type of workout, the goal is to give residents the freedom to train in different ways and continually challenge themselves.

More Than Equipment

For us, these projects are about more than installing fitness equipment. They are about creating spaces that become part of the community. Outdoor fitness areas can give residents a reason to step outside, try something new, and connect with the people around them. They can support individual training while also creating opportunities for group workouts, community events, and shared experiences.

That is especially exciting when a partnership continues to grow from one property to the next. Seeing residents use these spaces and seeing property teams continue to invest in outdoor fitness reinforces what we believe at MoveStrong: when you create better opportunities for movement, you can create stronger communities.

Taking the Partnership Beyond the Installation

And we’re not stopping with the equipment. We’re looking forward to returning to San Antonio for another MoveStrong Meetup, bringing property staff and residents together for a hands-on outdoor workout and community fitness experience. These events give people the chance to experience the equipment in a completely different way. Instead of simply seeing the space, residents can learn how to use it, try new movements, and experience the energy that comes from training together. It’s another way we can help our partners activate their outdoor fitness spaces and turn them into destinations residents want to use.

We’re proud to continue growing this partnership and excited to see where it leads next.

More properties. More movement. Stronger communities.
