MoveStrong Outdoor Fitness Park Coming to Hawaii: Vidinha Stadium Installation Underway
Big news from paradise: MoveStrong is bringing a brand-new FitGround Outdoor Functional Fitness Park to Kauai. Our team is currently on-site at Vidinha Stadium, where installation is underway as part of a broader renovation of the stadium grounds. This project represents our largest outdoor fitness installation in Hawaii to date, and we’re proud to be partnering closely with city officials to design a space that blends high-quality training equipment with the natural beauty and energy of the island.
From the earliest design stages, we worked hand in hand with local planners to create an outdoor fitness area that would serve both residents and visitors. The goal was to develop a welcoming, multi-purpose environment where people can train, move, and connect in a setting that feels both inspiring and accessible. The attached images and video give a glimpse into the layout and planning process, highlighting how this new fitness space has taken shape from concept to construction.
At the center of the park is the MoveStrong T-Rex 6-Post Elite Station, a versatile training system built for durability and multi-user functionality. It offers a broad range of functional training options thanks to its adjustable components, which support everything from ab work, pull-ups, step-ups, and suspension-based movements to acoomodate groups and individuals.
Athletes will also find a wide selection of MoveStrong FitGround stations, including pull-up/inverted row bars, plyo steps, elite parallel bars, drive sled station, battle ropes and stall bars for a well-rounded full-body training.
Agility elements, including ladder and dots, along with custom floor graphics, provide visual training cues, and offer additonal space for bodyweight exercises.
Every piece of this installation has been chosen to perform in Hawaii’s coastal environment and to support an outdoor park designed for consistent, year-round use. Whether someone wants to build strength, improve mobility, challenge their endurance, or simply enjoy movement under Kauai’s iconic sunshine, this new FitGround will offer something for everyone.
