Where Fitness, Fun, and Community Come Together: Bringing a New Kind of Training Experience to Atlanta

What if a gym could be the kind of place people look forward to visiting, where athletes push their limits, kids discover what they’re capable of, and families build healthier habits together? That is the vision behind a new MoveStrong Warrior training facility coming soon to Atlanta, Georgia, created by longtime fitness professionals Todd Price and his business partner, Troy.

With years of experience coaching athletes and everyday fitness enthusiasts, Todd and Troy are building on what they have learned at their existing training location to create something bigger. Both work with an impressive range of clients already, from world champion fighters and MMA athletes to bodybuilders, high school wrestlers, and people simply looking to become stronger and healthier. Their new Atlanta facility will bring together functional fitness, obstacle training, and group workouts in an environment designed to challenge people of different ages, abilities, and experience levels.
For Todd, the goal is simple: make fitness exciting enough that people want to keep coming back.

“I love working out, but I know a lot of people just don’t. I want to make it as fun as possible so people can stick with it and reach their goals.”

A Different Kind of Training Experience

The inspiration for incorporating MoveStrong equipment came from Troy, a former police officer with a background in MMA and bodybuilding. When he introduced Todd to MoveStrong's training solutions, Todd immediately saw the potential.

“I loved it right away. The equipment has such a grand appearance. It’s cool, it’s unique, and there’s really nothing else like it.”
— Todd Price

That visual impact is an important part of the overall concept. Todd wants the facility to make a lasting impression the moment someone walks through the door, creating an environment people are excited to be part of and proud to call their gym. Beyond the aesthetics, the versatility of the equipment opens up new ways to train, challenge the body, and keep workouts interesting.

Bringing the Vision to Life

Turning that vision into a functional training environment takes more than selecting the right equipment. The layout, available space, training goals, and budget all need to work together.

Our collaboration with Todd and Troy began with their vision for the facility and the experiences they wanted to create. From there, we worked together to identify the right equipment, explore layout possibilities, and develop a solution that would make the most of their space. Todd already had a few key elements in mind, including a red, black, and white color scheme inspired by the local university. Our team brought equipment expertise and layout recommendations to the process, working closely alongside the owners on the details and overall concept. The result is a training environment designed to do more than accommodate workouts. It is intended to create an experience with versatile training stations that encourage people to keep challenging themselves.

Warrior Edition

One of the most exciting aspects of the new facility will be its MoveStrong Warrior Edition equipment. Inspired by obstacle course racing, Ninja Warrior-style challenges, and advanced functional fitness training, Warrior Edition brings together obstacles that test grip strength, coordination, balance, endurance, and mental resilience.

For Todd, the MoveStrong Staircase & Ramp is already a standout, and he expects it to become one of the most frequently used pieces in the facility thanks to its versatility and range of training possibilities. He is equally excited about the warped wall and rotating monkey bars, especially when it comes to seeing how younger visitors take on the challenges.

Making fitness fun and engaging for kids is a big part of Todd's vision for the facility. He has noticed that many children are more drawn to Ninja Warrior-style obstacles than traditional playgrounds, and he wants to use that excitement to get them moving, building strength, and developing confidence without feeling like they're doing a typical workout.

“I want kids to get off their screens and get moving without even realizing they’re working out because they’re having so much fun.”
— Todd Price

By turning movement into an experience built around climbing, jumping, balancing, and overcoming obstacles, the facility wants to provide a more enjoyable way for younger visitors to develop strength, coordination and confidence.

This vision also extends beyond the gym. Todd is working on a nonprofit initiative focused on anti-bullying, inspired in part by the confidence and personal growth that fitness has brought into his own life. He hopes that introducing children to physical activity early can help them build a stronger foundation of confidence, discipline, and a positive mindset.

Fitness for the Whole Family

Another defining feature of the new facility is its family-friendly approach. Rather than treating children's activities as an afterthought, Todd wants younger visitors to have their own dedicated workout classes while their parents participate in training sessions of their own. The concept offers an alternative to traditional gym childcare. Children will have the opportunity to participate in age-appropriate, movement-focused activities while parents work toward their fitness goals, making it easier for families to build exercise into their routines.

The facility plans to offer bootcamp-style classes beginning as early as 6 a.m., along with evening sessions and potentially additional daytime options based on local demand, making training accessible for people with different schedules and lifestyles.

Just as importantly, Todd hopes the gym will become a place where people connect. Members from different backgrounds will share the same space, encouraging one another, celebrating each other's progress and building a sense of camaraderie. A great training environment can bring people together in ways that extend beyond exercise, creating friendships, shared experiences, and connections that continue outside the gym.

The planned addition of a protein ice cream shop will offer another way for members and visitors to spend time together, reinforcing the idea that the facility is about building a community as much as completing a workout.

Opening the Door to What's Next

With the flooring and specialty surfacing in place, the team is moving into the next stages of preparation, including equipment installation, painting, and the finishing touches needed to bring the facility together before the big opening later this year. For Todd, that moment cannot come soon enough. He is particularly excited to see people experience the equipment in person, discover their favorites and begin making the facility their own.

And while the Atlanta location is still taking shape, the long-term vision includes additional gyms in other states, meeting the growing interest in this style of training.

Our partnership with them reflects what makes projects like this so rewarding: working alongside experienced fitness professionals who see the potential to do something different and helping translate that ambition into a practical, engaging training environment.

By combining MoveStrong's versatile functional fitness and Warrior Edition equipment with Todd and Troy's coaching experience and community-focused approach, the new Atlanta facility is being designed to welcome more people into fitness, from dedicated athletes looking for their next challenge to kids discovering the joy of movement for the first time.

Because sometimes, the best way to build a lasting fitness habit is to create a place where working out doesn't feel like work at all.
